    What does Refurbished mean?

    I want to buy a monitor through Ebay and I have no idea of what Refurbished means. Could you guys help me out?
    I'm just a newbie.

    it means it was defective or broken and it was fixed outside of the original manufacturers warehouse.

      It means it was returned to the store. There may or may not have been a problem with it. Once a product is returned they fix it, or just repackage it, and then put it back up for sale.
      Could be a lemon or a diamond, good luck.

          It means it was used, and they cleaned it up, went thru and tested components and replaced any questionable parts.

          Should come with some kind of a warranty

                Would have to be an awesome deal (25-30% of the original price) to say ?yah?.

                Most refurbs do not come with the warranty, making it sketchier.

                        it could be something that was make and had a little wrong detail or something that was returned because it has a little defect it could be fix in the same company that made it or not.

                        and because of that is cheaper than a brand new thing!

                          I guess if I lived in the US I'd buy one. But since shipping is like $150 I wouldn't like to gamble on it and end up paying for shipping 3 times.
