while reading through this thread i got thinking,... if hes hotlinking your movies...
either A) they are viewing it straight from their media player...
or B) they click the url and it loads in there media player...
i figure if your gonna send them to hell, that means they are probably doing B. so why not redirect that traffic to someone who will pay, or to your own sites? that way you make money off this hotlinking ass bandit... instead of killing the surfers...

Don't take it out on the surfers. Find a large file on the hotlinking site and 302 them back to it. It's annoying, but at least it won't fuck up the innocent surfer's PCs.Comment

Choker, this is Wrong, Wrong Wrong what you are doing. You are making the industry look bad with this "Revenge" method you are doing. Use some sense and some hotlinking protection rather than virus/trogan crap on innocent surfers which eould have been potential customers for someone. Now these surfers are just pissed, and will not only never buy anything from anyone, but will most likely report you and cause more troube for all of the industry.
