Een 38-jarige automobilist uit Emmen is woensdagavond, vermoedelijk met een slok teveel op, gewond geraakt in de Leidsestraat.
De man reed met zijn auto op de Prinsengracht en werd ter hoogte van de Prinsengracht geconfronteerd met een tram. Hij wilde uitwijken en botste daarbij tegen een abri en tegen een tram. De abri raakte zwaarbeschadigd.
Politiemensen namen een sterke alcohollucht waar bij het slachtoffer. De man is overgebracht naar een ziekenhuis waar ook een bloedproef is gedaan. De Technische Ongevallendienst heeft een onderzoek ingesteld.

Really nothing important. Just that a car crashes there and there at that time and the driver was taken to the hospital. The police noticed he had a very strong alcohol smell.
