I'm thinking of auctioning it off here on GFY, maybe even giving it away in a contest.
I had to have it smog tested so I took it in (today is the last day for it to be smogged by the way). I always wait until the last minute with that truck because I never know if I still want it from day to day.
The guy tells me it didn't pass and that I need to take it somewhere to get fixed. So I take it to a new mechanic (NEVER EVER stray from a trusted mechanic... I just learned the hard way) This new guy put in a clutch for me a couple of weeks ago, and all was fine.
He made the adjustments suggested by the smog tester, and then I went to pick up RedShoe Jr. and then take it to be re-tested. I would have been late picking her up otherwise.
So on the way to the test the clutch drops out. I'm in the middle of the valley at 4:30, it's raining, and I have a tired 3 year old and 4 hard drives, a power supply, a big bag full of DVD's, a Dora the Explorer back pack, a scsi controller card, and no cell phone. So... we walked.
WHAT A FUCKING PAIN IN THE ASS!!!
I feel like an abused wife. I keep taking the truck back, no matter how many times it shits on me and leaves me stranded. Stupid fucking truck. I'm temtped to just fuckin' leave it there. Whatever happens to it, happens.
But I figured someone here might like a cool gift to give to a friend, so maybe I'll raffle it off, or give it away, or auction it.
