Anyone know anything about a RAID Setup? - GoFuckYourself.com

I've got a little dilemna on my hands. I've currently got 2 HD's in this machine both near full.

160GB Maxtor IDE - Primary Master
200GB Western Digital IDE - Secondary Master
DVD - Secondary Slave

I would like to add an additional harddrive in there somewhere, I do have a Secondary Slave slot free, but as my DVD drive is on there it wouldn't be feasable.

I figured that RAID would be the way to go about it.. however I know fuck all about RAID systems and after some searching I have come out pretty much empty handed.

I've got no more space left on my Mobo, so I need to get some type of controller. Could someone post a link that explains RAID or give their own explination in laymens terms, because all this RAID 0/1/2/3/153/51/2431231/ is doing my head in.

I dont know. I want a solution to deal with my lack of space, but have some kind of backup system in place.. I might just buy 2 new 400GB SATA's and put em in RAID 1... Just dont really want to deal with transfering 360gb of shit across.
