Mobile phone alerts
Cool... just what I was waiting for.
Yahoo has been beta testing cell phone alerts. I just set mine up to let me know how my favourite sports teams are doing during games. http://mobile.yahoo.com/ If your phone isn't listed, you can still set it up like a pager, which is all I wanted in the first place.

a tv channel in norway just bough the rights to broadcast the english premier league on the mobile platform.. nice to be able to recieve the latest goals and actually watch them
