Monday Night Football OUTRAGEOUS..ZEBRAS!!Seattle point of view*INTERESTING IRONY*GRR

I made a reply about this earlier but i felt the need to voice again in a fresh post....

1st of all for those that didnt see it...the cowboys get a touchdown when WR was CLEARLY out of bound with second foot...Holmgren doesnt challenge cuz he's a doosh

The ironic part is ...the year before holmgren was hired...the reason why Dennis Erickson was fired was because they didnt make the playoffs..

...the reason they didnt make the playoffs is because in Week 17 versus the Jets Vinny Testeverde was stuffed on a 4th a goal to end the game...but the zebras called it a touchdown.....no instant replay...

...because of that one play...

1) the jets made the playoffs
2) Erickson lost his job
3) The NFL decided to bring back instant replay

THE IRONY IS...

Another costly loss due to the officials.....Vinny Testeverde back at the helm at QB...

Only difference is....jets game they couldnt replay...this one they could BUT FUCKING HOLMGREN DIDNT THROW T HIS LITTLE RED FLAG

GRRRRRRRRRR

FRUSTERATING!!!!!

I hear ya man. I have played football all through highschool and now coach it. Of course I am a huge fan and student of the game. Bottom line is this.....

If you can hinge a season on a handful of plays, there are bigger problems. This simply means that if teams are constantly in these situations, at best, have other problems such as maybe a weak secondary, or no pass rush, consistanly poor pass/run blocking etc.

The play couldn't be reviewed by the pressbox either because it was a judgement call on wether or not the contact from the defender forced him out of bounds.

That call couldn't be overturned.

How about that call on the Jerry Rice Touchdown. He was up to his old dirty tricks and got away with offenseive pass interference.

That Official should get fined by the league. The call was that bad.

Another bad call on a pass interference and you could take away two seahawk TD's. (Ball was uncatchable)

It wouldn't have done any good.

Holmgren is only 1 for 21 on challenges. I thnk the refs are pissed at him for getting replay into the games.

Time to face facts.

Seahawks are major underachievers.

First of all , thats not true...it would have been up for review...he was clearly out of bounds the push was not an issue

2ndly...on the jerry rice play.....he was gettin raped and was held the whole way...he pushed the defender off of him cuz he was hangin on him like it was his mother's tit

Before you give Holmgren shit about not reviewing learn who is in charge of reviews with 2:00 or less in either half.

Yup, that was on the guys upstairs. The play should have been reviewed. Any close play that determines a games outcome needs to be reviewed.

Sigh, I used to blame my team's loses on the refs. I tell you, it's a lot easier when your team just gets a touchdown every time they have the ball. You should talk to someone on your team and tell them that.

I don't know why they didn't think of it years ago.

Before you make a dumb comment....learn to look back at the game and notice that the score came with just over 2 minutes in the game

OFFICIAL BOX SCORE
1:54 DAL TD Vinny Testaverde passed to Keyshawn Johnson down the middle for 34 yard gain (Billy Cundiff made PAT)

Inside two minutes, coach couldn't have asked for a review.
