I'd say that site could be broken in a whole maybe 30 seconds. NATS makes me laugh.

I was doing the same, but I only work with galleries that comus can thumb.

First, the rotating galleries were removed from the drop down menu, we'll add them again today (you shouldn't have been getting the same 1301 galleries).

As for the thumbs, in the dump file you can select "Gallery Thumb" and it'll give you something like that:

where http://gals.audreylive.com/TGP/sets/29/T1_snapshot.jpg is the thumb of the gallery. You can also select its size, from 10 pre-set sizes we have.

That's what I ended up doing, although I would have prefered unique. Yeah, I'm crazy - I would have hand cropped them all...

For Comus, you need to change the dump list a little. You need to add a "vote" selection and a blank selection where the category can be added. like this:

URL, Category, Description, Number of Images, Vote, Image Name,keywords

Anyway, I got them all in, so gimme my $20 :)

The other fields are already there.

You'll have to contact SixZeros about why Comus won't thumb some galleries properly. Every copy of it I have installed behaves differently for some bloody reason. Most likely its because there's no file extension on the galleries. Don't know for sure.

One more thing while I'm here...

For anyone having trouble importing into Comus, I have a flat text file available here www.thelasthonestman.com/audrey_pics.zip that adds category and vote in the right order.

Just be sure to switch refcodes before importing. :Graucho

Open the zip, cut and paste into your editor, search and replace the refcodes, then cut and paste into Comus' bulk importer. The galleries will be added to an Audrey(hidden) category with a vote of 5.

The thumbs are at 120 by 90, btw. To use different thumb sizes:
For 88*88: Replace T5_snapshot.jpg with T2_snapshot.jpg
For 90*120: Replace T5_snapshot.jpg with T3_snapshot.jpg

Works fine and takes about 30 seconds. I've used it to add the gals to a few tgps.

We just pinpointed the problem with comus, and we'll have that fixed by the end of the afternoon. I'll post when done.

The problem has been fixed; try to import the new list into comus, it should work :)

What should the "vote" section contain?

Hey Jay,

The "vote" is the rank you give submitters/partners/webmaster bulk importers.

On installation the vote defaults to 7 for submitters, 5 for partners, and 1 for bulk imports, which can be overridden with that exact tag.

Personally, I submit my bulk imports as 7 to give pref to submitters, but am not too sure what other webmasters prefer.
