i don't even know the guy, i just looked at it all objectively and thought hey, if this were me i would go to the guy and say hey could you let them know we made the designs for them.

i hardly think of someone as a scammer because they posted a thread saying they need a logo for a friend for free for an animal shelter and then they went and posted them on a site, but didn't claim to have designed them and didn't even remove the watermark that gave the designers site from one of them. i hardly think of that as a being a scammer, waste your time on something better you fucking loser.

of course that's just this one situation i'm judging it on, i don't know him otherwise or his biz otherwise.

"im not done yet..." is in one of his threads, sounds to me as though he's "not done creating the logos", an not simply "not done posting them on this site."

well it depends on how you're looking at it, could be seen either way, you happen to see it as though he's saying he's not done creating because you are afraid he's stealing from you.

i'm just saying look at it objectively, as opposed to outright saying he's a scammer by posting some designs for free to help out a friend running an animal shelter.

I never called him a scammer outright, I merely said he stole our designs. Nobody profited from this design contest so obviously there has been no harm done financially. My only concern is that he took all the credit from several creative people, even before he was done posting people had commented on the quality of work and he never once said "yes they are nice, _____ made them over @ GFY," or anything similar. Had he done that there would be no confusion and no need to look at it objectively

See already you're starting to look at it in a slightly better way. I would have just talked to the guy and said hey I found the site where you posted those logo's why didn't you credit us or say some friends made them for you.

But I suppose everyone takes everything right to GFY because everyone is totally suspicious of everyone else and think the world revolves around fucking GFY.

design, in the sense of art, personality, creativity, is just something a person shouldn't post without the author's consent or mention. period.

good work on the logo's and good looking out to help someone out in need and good looking out for doing the work for free to you designers that submitted stuff.
