How can I import my ICQ contact list from another folder, while maintaining the present list?

How many contacts are we talking about ?
MANUALLY is probably your safest bet.

I just need to get 2-3 contacts whose ICQ numbers I cant recall. They are in another folder in my harddisk. How do i do it manually?

What folder would that be ??? can you not just open the file in like Wordpad, and copy the numbers down ?

I had ICQ installed on my D drive, now I'e reinstalled it on my C drive. I ned some contacts from my previous installation on D drive. Which file should I open that has the contact numbers?

Hypo I don't know about importing individual contacts but all your contacts and history are in your 2000b folder; if you use 2000b. If you have to copy them to disc for the transfer make sure to change each file from read-only to archive(properties) when you place the files in your new 2000b folder. Hope this helps you.

Look for a folder that contains files that have your icq# and end in .idx , .dat. Those are the files with your contacts and history in them.
