Wireless B work with Wireless G?
I have a wireless G router and an extra wireless B card. Is the B card worthless?
Thanks! |

Should work just fine.
You wont get the added benefit of the G standard though.

usally if u do that u end up locking the wireless router at b speeds and anyone with a g card will get dropped down to b speeds instead of the full 54 megs

I dont that that a B card will slow down a G router. Only the system with the B card will run slower.

Wireless N is where it's at. If you can get a router that has a B & G post on it, that way you won't be slowed down to B.
