I have heard that others have some problems with cc scrub. I have heard that it is as big of a problem as free pics glut.

Maybe they overstated the problem? I dunno. I am not involved in cc's at all.

200k is definitely not out of the question for a TGP2 site at some point in the future.

Strictly from a trading point of view, you can gauge the health of TGP2 by looking at the whole distribution. The largest TGP2 is 20k. Then there ae two that are 10k. Number 10 is 3k.

When number 10 gets to 10k, then you have a lot of "push". As the top sites grow, it attracts more and more people. As more people come, it in turn grows TGP2 more and then in turn attracts more people. This even larger size attracts more sponsors, more hosts, spacial deals, etc. which fuels it even more.

Thi is where we are now.

TGP 1 = 1 gallery 20 pics a 20kb per pic and 2 kb per thumbnail 1 banner a 15kb and the page itself with text a 10 kb

TGP1 on avareage gives 20k x 65 kb = 1.3 Gig without loading teh big pics a day

On average 5 pics are viewed a 20 kb per pic so we gaet

5 x 20 = 100kb x 20k = 2 Gigs a day

Total 3.3 Gigs a day on a clean average gallery without any recips.


TGP 2 = 1 gallery with 5 pics a 20 kb and 5 thumbs a 5kb because they are larger ne banner or FPA a 60kb on average

On average you get 2k from a TGP2 gallery in traffic so we get

85kb x 2k = 0.17 gig a day
5 pics a 20 kb =100kb x 2k = 0.2 Gigs a day

Total 0.37 gigs a day

Compared to tgp 1 TGP2 has decreased your BW bill by 2.93 gigs a day!

Now it is a proven fact that productivity on TGP2 galleries is a lot better then with TGP1 and by my own experience I can get one sign up per day from 2k to a TGP2 gallery atm.

I used ARS, Stiffy and Gamma all produced the same ratio's and till now I have 335 TGP2 galleries out there and the average of 1 sign up a day remains with peaks to 2 sign ups a day.

That's with submitting 1 gallery a day and except 15 gallies I submitted as Wolfshade I submitted the rest under another nick, IP and email in order to avoid getting special treatments as I know most TGP2 webmasters very well.

I also know I can produce 1 sign up a day from TGP1 traffic with 20k a day so I think this comparison is a valid one.

I can do much better with TGP1 but then I would be slapping the surfer around CJ style on a second page. This test was about quality and so I compared it with regular galleries with links straight to the sponsor.

Now I can conclude that I can do the same with 2k of TGP2 traffic what I used to do with 20k of TGP1 traffic.

Can we do the math on what I saved on BW?

Anybody staring blind at his counter stats and use this as an excuse not to do TGP2 is a fool IMHO

If you didn't make $$$ with TGP2 it's yoru marketing skills and not TGP2 that's at fault.

At TGP2Stats, TGP2 topped 130 k for the first time only 4 days ago. Yesterday it topped 140k. Will it top 150k today? It's going to be close.

This kind of growth happens when things are working. It does NOT when they are not. TGP2 is EXPLODING this week! Our TGP2 Bucks program has had 9 consecutive record days. We've doubled in 5 days.

The ratios are there. The traffic is blowing up as we speak. To wait is a foolish move.

Yes, I do agree with you on that. I just use the uniques as standard measure and not the raws. That's why our totals are different.
