Here's the problem. Unless you're willing to sell/lease/license/etc the domain... I can't have team-bloggers updating blogs (domains) that we don't have access/control/ownership of. it would be a nightmare when it comes to IP, management, updating, software and keeping the network in tact and moving forward.

It's a different story when you are blogging on your own domain and choose to join the network.

we can discuss other options. but I'm trying to keep this as simple as possible. LOL. considering I've already received several hundred emails from partners, bloggers, etc... this will be tough, but fun.

as soon as I post the cut-off date for joining the network, I'm sure more people will join at the last minute.

I hope I answered some questions, if you have more, please post... it's easier to answer 10 of the same questions at once in this thread. but by all means don't be afraid to email me. I'm currently only 1-2 days behind.

I guess I dont understand the idea.

You are finding successful bloggers and puting them into a directory which you will promote and advertise.

Are you going to require the bloggers to have special links or ads from your network? Is that revenue sharing?

Why would someone with a successful moneymaking blog join your empire? What is in it for them?

I would love to be able to do something with all the blog domains I have, unfortunately, I dont think I can provide quality to all of them as far as content goes.

I would love to know more.

I need a new project.

We are not focusing on bloggers who already have a successful blog. They are welcome to join the network, but the terms are obviously going to be different. We are looking for "new" bloggers who want to blog under our domains and form one cohesive network.

I recently picked up StockingsBlog.com & StockingBlog.com, not the greatest, but clearly define the niche and need it for the network.

DEVELOPMENT STATUS:
We've been "in stealth mode" developing our own software. We looked at many software options out there...free, paid, opensource, etc... nothing fit our business model and many were too restrictive (content, licensing, domains, etc) so we're building the feature-rich blog software from scratch. this will take time but I've got a skilled team working on it and we're making sure we do it right the first time.

lots of email asking if you can have multiple blogs and the answer is yes, but if you are blogging under mainstream categories you must refrain from posting adult links/content, etc for obvious reasons. You can not link your mainstream blog to your adult blog but vice-versa is allowed.

yes, we are working on incorporating moblogging (mobile blogging: text and pix from your mobile phones, pdas, devices) and vogging (video blogging), but honestly, the vogging is not as important to us as moblogging will be right now. If you have your own site, i.e. you're a model/cam girl and want your own blog and don't want to lose your traffic, you can iframe your blog. We will still link to your blog and make it searchable within our network and our surfers will not have access to your paid members areas. if you wish to keep your blog private and for you members only, that may be possible. Plus, you'll be able to update your blog with your mobile phone via SMS/Text message and if you have a PhoneCam you can upload your pix instantly or archived for you to add later when you get back home. I know it seems obvious but I received this question alot and it needed answering.

yes there are many out there but always room for more because new bloggers are born everyday. In fact many services have launched on GFY recently and congrats to them for getting online. more services = more bloggers = wider audience = faster adoption rate. I'm not doing this to compete with anyone... I'm willing to work with everyone. I'm making use of my resources, domains, ideas, network, traffic, etc to create a service that hopefully will be adopted by many bloggers. yes, we will have features that allow you to password protect your blog. we will have a free section and premium section. but not everyone will qualify for premium content until it's justifiable. If you want a private blog (for family, friends, work, etc) vs. public (all-access) then perhaps joining our team isn't right for you. However, you're a perfect candidate for our paid service.

There is no limit, but only take on as much as you can handle. I personally know some dedicated bloggers who maintain 20+ QUALITY blogs daily and others you'll read about that operate hundreds of blogs that are updated frequently. BLOG all you want but of course we prefer QUALITY over QUANTITY. If you notice your traffic decline, then cut back on the number of blogs or don't try to update them daily.

We only want to get a slice of the pie, not the whole pie. A tiny foothold is all we need. If you want a private blog (for family, friends, work, etc) vs. public (all-access) then perhaps joining our team isn't right for you. However, you're a perfect candidate for our paid service. . re: how many blogs can I have There is no limit, but only take on as much as you can handle. I personally know some dedicated bloggers who maintain 20+ QUALITY blogs daily and others you'll read about that operate hundreds of blogs that are updated frequently. BLOG all you want but of course we prefer QUALITY over QUANTITY. If you notice your traffic decline, then cut back on the number of blogs or don't try to update them daily. . I am excited with the quality of questions and suggestions that you're all sending in. Lots of enthusiasm and hitting on some ideas that are very innovative. Keep it coming. .
