I dont even know what my connection is. :(
|
I just got a mail from www.labs2.com regarding a question about "how much bandwidth you are allowed to use".
the answer are as follows: "Hi, our offer on 1000 Mbps is only valid on Klostervallen (a certain area withing Lund, Sweden). We have no b/w limit. But remember that a normal hard drive can feed maximum 200 Mbps and you gotta have something to feed it to. In the short run, I think you should see this as a very fast broadband connection. But it got potential, and by making it availible it will be possible to laborate with what it can be used to. There are rumours that things will happen with the network you are on also (I got 100 mbps). Hopefully we will be able to serve students soon also. regards, mattias lindberg" Sounds strange that they allow free bandwidth, i don't belive it :) Anyway, hopefully the put this shit into my net also soon ;) |
