You know what, I took Cathay Pacific because they are a One World Alliance member and all my miles are Americane Airlines, plus I heard the airline was nice. I got a lot of miles because they gave me a 15% bonus of miles on top of what the trip was worth.

The ticket only costed about $200 additional from the others.

The flight attendants were all japanese and very good looking.

Cathay is known in the industry for amazing first class service on certain flights into Asia.

The service was great, but one thing struck me funny.

I have always flown American for any international flight, that said, it is the only comparison I can draw from. On Cathay, they make you put your seat up when they serve you both dinner and breakfast.

Is that the norm?

On American, they don't do that and I like the fact that they don't. Sure, it is a bit cramped eating, but at the end of the day, I would rather not be awakened if I am sleeping.

Sleep is the real time killer on those flights.

Yes they were and they were pretty cute.
