Vietnam didn't go down as a win and it really didn't go as a push either.

The issue was that the Vietnamese made us fight their way, they didn't fight our way.

We couldn't get them out and what it would have cost us in lives to get them out couldn't have been worth it in a million years.

Blame the French tho, they started that one

i don't want america to lose any big war, 'cuz then europe would be invaded by arabs/chinise/indians/africaans (name more) and i don't like that idea at all

so the only thing that's pretty annoying is that america is making it not the best way.

The Afghans don't stand a fuckin' chance. We got shit that can blow shit up in bunkers and trenches long distance from a soldiers personal weapon. Not to mention that, for the Afghans, night is night. For us, night is day.

Next we go to the issue of ground forces in general. Do you honestly think we just send 'em in and tell them to "go get 'em"? Wrong.

We move through with heavy gear first and foremost. Whether that's means M1's or Stealths or Patriots. Incinerate everything that moves. Ground forces follow. By the time the guys on the ground see anything, it's either dead or dying.

We will not be defeated. It is not an option.

Taliban warriors are already walking over to the northern alliance. Use economic support to influence their politics and help the innocent locals who like the taliban as mutch as you do!
