Strip vocals from audio?
This may or may not be a stupid question, but I was wondering if any of you know of any program that does such a thing?

You can do alot of stuff on Final Cut Pro for Mac but not sure.....will mess with it to see.

That's what any Karaoke player does.
I'm not certain - but I think a karaoke player just cuts out the mid-range frequencies and leaves the bass and treble. Whatever it does it roughly gets rid of a good deal of the vocals. |

yea there are dsp plugins and filters you can use but stripping vocals without losing other sound fidelity is hard as fuck
