Has Anyone Ever Sued Another Adult Company For Name Infringement?

Like say for example your revenue program is called "Drinkinghard Bucks". Now this program is widely successful and you have spent years building it up to what it is today. Then someone comes along and calls their program "Drinkinghard Revenue" LOL!

I don't know man but I would be quite pissy if someone came along and tried to spin their site off the success of mine. Would you have any recourse to sue this other company on a trademark infringment (if you had a trademark registered) or just on the simple fact that you are losing business due to another company that has such a similar name and could be confused with?

Just wondering what the concensus is here ;)

I think if it was involving some very specific names then it could certainly be a case. But if its "regular" names, such as Platinum Bucks and Platinum Revenue, I don't think it would make for much of a case.

It doesn't need to be registered with the USPTO or any other office.

Like the idiot that recently launched ADULTcontentblowout.com about 1 1/2 years after I introduced ContentBlowout.com?

Thinking about it

I believe ARS sent a complaint over to Trey at Epic Cash over the use of BYOT. No idea what transpired over it.

I will sell you galerytraficservice.com for 10xCost.

I don't know legal at all but I swear half of GFY comes into legal threads and starts dishing out advice when they have no clue what they are talking about.

If it was that important to them, I would think they would have registered the mark in USPTO.

Interesting though.

XPays sent a C & D to Phone Sex Pays.

Microsoft went after MikeRoweSoft.

Dilution of trademark, I believe.
