I think you can distinguish Surfers From Webmasters.

I don't know about you. I don't get spywear. When it comes to IE's loops/holes. I don't click "yes I accept" when prompted.

I have never gotten spywear. Installed on my pc. This includes Gator.com.malware,ect..

Seriously,

Real computer savey people don't get tricked.

I bet it takes you no less then 30 seconds to remove it.

Seriously what if 1/2 the people on GFY had to go though.

This happened to me last week. I had set my security settings to enable, not prompt, to test out some activex webcam software, then forgot to reset it.

I went to some site and got that damn search2begin shit installed.

Yes..You got infected. It should take you 1 reboot to get it out right?

Some people bitch and complain that it can't get the spywear out makes you wonder..are they even webmasters?

Actually, I edited the registry manually to remove it....but your point is right on.

I don't even bother installing anti-virus software on my pc at home or work, because I just don't get viruses. How would I know if I had one then? Every once in awhile I install AVG, run fullscan, see no viruses, uninstall it
