Anyone knows of any good telnet software

I am looking for one where I could copy + paste commands from my notepad in to the telnet command line and execute them.

It's crap when you need to install a mysql tables and you have to type 1000 characters in the line without missing one.

I use putty to, but has no copy+paste. Do you have any URLs to that Token?

Try this one: http://www.vandyke.com/products/SecureCRT/

It is called SSH, it's more secure than regular telnet. Also allows you to copy and paste.

I would recommend Tera Term Pro which is an excellent free Windows telnet client.

If SSH is also needed (and it's highly recommended) you can get a SSH plugin, also for free, from here

Putty has ssh as well. Token feels much better for telnet though.

McSpike, doesn't the telnet.exe that comes with windows allow copy and paste? I use it sometimes. It just does accept the keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+V, which is somewhat annoying.

windows telnet does not even have a scrolling window. Once you use Token you'll never go back to telnet.

Sure Winblows Telnet has a scrolling window, you just didn't turn it on.

But regardless, there are much better clients out there. I use SecureCRT from Vandyke that was mentioned above. You can telnet or use SSH (MUCH better).
