Wouldn't it be better if all affiliates got an email if a sponsor changed something about their payout setup ;)

Perhaps I can assist here. I am not sure who told you what but it is at it sounds. Unlimited means you will be paid forever and zero means you will not be paid. So basically if under Recurring Subscriptions you see unlimited you will receive credit for each rebill.

Just sent you the response from your CSupport person to my personal sponsor with a screenshot of my personal panel where I see this Zero. Sent to corvett & yourself.

They do, everytime with ccbill. If a sponsor changes a payout percentage the affiliate gets an email regardless if it is lowered or raised. Also, if a sponsor changes the number of rebill payouts, even by 1 the affiliate gets an email.

Processors do have reporting issues when it comes to these items from time to time. Before you hang a sponsor out to dry make sure you get all the facts first. I know of 5 other sponsors that had the same exact issue a year ago and of course, the sponsor was nailed for "stealing" and the reporting error was called bullshit. Here is just a couple other examples of reporting errors that could cost program owners their company and reputation. Its interesting that its the same processor and same issue. ;)

I LOVE CCbill and will always back them up. But, with the TONS of info they pour through their system on a daily basis its pretty easy to see how a reporting error may occur from time to time. It happens. I HIGHLY doubt Donovan P or Oliver's went in and changed there payouts only to fuck themselfs in the ass.

i also found one with Zero rebills.

sent them an email, might be an honest mistake.

Our payouts are 50% signup and 50% recurring for the life of the member.

Webmasters that have sent 100 joins also got a $1,000 bonus from me!

We started as affiliate webmasters, so we take payouts very seriously...

Let's do some biz.

I was just called on the phone and told about this thread. I'm on the phone with CCBill now. I have not changed a single thing from my end. I'll update everyone as soon as I know something.

I'd never ever fuck an affiliate out of rebills. Ever.

I should mention that this affiliate program emailed prior to changing payout to let me know of the planned change

I did not receive the automated ccbill email when the affiliate program made the payout change and I have not received an automated payout change email from ccbill for some time now

Donny 12-23-2004 12:12 PM

Okay, off the phone now. No problems, thank God!

CCBill tech support just told me that when I move you to a new group (I have a group called "webmasters") it will show the payouts you are seeing unless I hit the "update group" button. Even so, your payouts are still correct even if displayed improperly.

Paul in tech support is the supervisor I dealt with. He assures me that if you look at your transaction reports you'll see the rebills even if the page you are looking at is incorrectly displayed.

I move all new webmasters to a group called "webmasters". I do this because sometimes surfers sign up as webmasters and I don't want them to receive emails with new hosted gallery listings. I occasionally send out an email to all affiliate webmasters with new hosted gallery listings.

Paul says that if I forget to "update group" after adding you to the "webmasters" group you'll see all zeros. But, I REPEAT, this does not mean your payout is zero. Your rebills still recur at 50%.

If you have any questions, feel free to call me. Today's my birthday so I'll be out of the office but you can reach me on my cell phone: 530-680-8512.

Just logged in the same program and here is what mine reads:

Dubious Cash Referral Program
Affiliate ID:****** Payout Percent: 50.00%
Signup Date: 10/02/2004
Trial Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (Unlimited) rebills Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (Unlimited) rebills

Same exact issue as last year and the very issue that fucked me and my company. Some people has some serious explaining to do. I love it when the truth finally comes out.

My thoughts exactly!

It makes no sense that if, or when, a sponsor changes the payout structure to their program, affiliates are not notified.

:Grrrrrr

This happened to me too. Rebills were switched to zero, no notification from ccbill. Got it fixed and it was apparently an error, but it was not cool...
