Classic Heavy Metal soundtracks
Please recommend some...
I was just listening to, would you believe it, the Transformers Movie soundtrack (1986). Some nice metal/pop the way they don't make it today that defined the 80's. Most of the bands are relatively unknown except maybe Kick Axe, but very good tunes nevertheless. |

Was listening to Metallica's S&M Live cd's tonight for the first time in a long while... Very well done.
It's the album where they perform a lot of their songs w/ the San Fransisco Philharmonic orchestra.. Me like. -Phil

I saw Metallica live in Toronto, must have been '87 or so - they just released Ride The Lightning. Best show I ever saw. No pyros, no light show, nothing. Just 4 guys kickin ass for 90 minutes.
Metallica will forever be "the best Metal band of all time." no one is close. |

metallica isn't the best, some of their old stuff rules like master of puppets, ride the lightning, sanatarium, one etc
other good older metal includes like iron maiden, dio, slayer, megadeath, pantera etc not sure on soundtracks

Are we talking soundtracks or bands?
Look for the soundtrack to the movie Trick Or Treat. |
