    Your most memorable Thanksgiving

    Mine has to be the one when one of my brothers died. Since my parents were unavailable my grandmother fixed the rest of us kids something for dinner, not sure what it was, but I do remember she took a lemon and stuck some toothpicks in it to make it look somewhat like a turkey.

      None jump out at me, so I guess I really haven't had one yet. Now I'm bummed. Gonna have to host it next year and make sure it's one to remember!

                      You have no idea how true that comment is.

                      Her husband died when my dad was 3, leaving her to raise 3 kids on her own. She ended up becoming the first female Chief Underwriter for the FHA. She was appointed in the mid 60's, and that was quite an achievement back then.
