My most recent comparison is President Clinton, he gave the US a massive surplus.

George W spent it all in a matter of months, and went into massive deficit.

I read an article a while back that said Walmart is responsible for a 1% total of China's economy... and that's only one company.

The $USD is approaching an area where it bounced 3 times in the 1990's.... the 80 level (see chart)

Given the speed and scope of the fall from 2002 (33%)... wouldn't surprise me to see it bounce up to 100 (see chart) before beginning a new leg down.
