In a press release posted Friday, November 19th, Congressman David Dreir (R-San Dimas), the Chairman of the House Rules Committee, praised last week's passage of legislation that will extend the ban on Internet access taxes. This legislation will also prohibit states and localities from imposing multiple and discriminatory taxes on e-commerce for another four years.
