i use spybot and Ad-Aware. they work pretty well

BulletProof gets rid of a ton of stuff that neither AdAware or Spybot even notice.

I've just started using Giant Antispyware. It picked up like 42 items that Adware and Search and Destroy didn't find. A combo of all three seems to be working well for me.
