Went commando on one of my laptops last night...
AC input wasn't working and I ripped the thing apart to solder it in place. Problem is... I succeeded in breaking both of the plastic clamps that hold the keyboard and mouse cables in place on the motherboard.
Anyone know where I can find replacements for these two $.02 pieces of plastic? HP wants me to buy a new motherboard. ![]() |

Get a hot glue gun and hock a big old lump of glue over it all, but don't get it in the jacks themselves.
