Oh, my poor cat! She just came running through the pet door soaking wet. She fell in the pool. Got a heater going for her, and trying to get her dry. She's a senior now (9 years old), and has no desire to be wet.

I've got a couple of Rottweilers that have fallen in the pool more than once. My female dog swims to the stairs and climbs out. My Male dog swims to the shallow end and stands on his back paws with his front paws on the side of the pool and whines until somebody rescues him.

Thats hillarious!

Whenever we have a new pet I teach it how to find the stairs. It seems cruel to throw your dog in the pool with a leash on then lead him to the stairs but, it's better than the kids finding him playing Navy Seal at the bottom of the pool.
