What's the best age to be? 18? 20?30?

Is there an ideal age? From about 17-25 I guess you're considered "young" with your "whole life ahead of you".

From 26-35 most people usually settle into a career and get married and/or have a child.

From 36-45 most time is spent working and raising a family.

These are all huge generalizations.

In your experience, as an older or younger person, what age do you prefer. If you're young, do you think that being older is ideal or do you prefer the freedoms you have now. If you're older, do you wish you could be younger again?

I'm kind of thinking I'm a nice age right now. I recall being younger and the fun it was but I also didn't know what I know now and wasn't independent enough. I realize I will learn more as I get older but I would have no problems staying this age if I could. But maybe I'm mistaken.

I'd choose 17-25, because this is where you're exploring new thing bout life and everything!!! But also I like 36-45, that time I could live peacefully with my family

I hated being a kid. I hated not knowing enough and knowing that I didn't know anything. I felt the same way in my teens but drowned it out by having fun.

So, I never want to look back. I'm just looking at the present and like it. I guess that could be problematic too, I don't know.

Exactly. My overall life was much better off in my 30's than in my 20's and now better at 43 than at 33. The only reason I would want to go back to an earlier age is if I were able to revisit those dear to me who were taken too early and if not able to help them at least spend intensive quality time with them.

My wife and I are both 40 - and we watch her kids struggle with college and 'starting a real life' and have discussed the fact that we'd HATE to be *very* young again (especially '13' like her youngest) because it DOES "get better" as you get older - well, except when you're trying to climb a long flight of stairs...

I'll debate your perception of quality: if you mean "well rounded, polished, and sophisticated" - few 18 year old girls qualify as such, and those that do won't be hanging with porn mongers regardless of their age.

If by quality, you mean "a hot piece of ass" ? I can afford several thank you, and many women of quality appreciate the maturity of an older gentleman, rather than the simplicity of punk ass bitches who are barely old enough to wipe their own asses.

Well, almost. My wife is 40 and still a hot piece of ass

Most of my peers at the time bet that I wouldn't live to be 20, (and after that, 30) due to my 'reckless' nature, and while I have had some pretty amazing adventures / lifestyles in the past, things just keep getting better for me.

At this point, everything is just "gravy" ? and there's something particularly sweet about that ? even if it takes me a little longer to climb a steep hill than it once did.
