Speaking of Afghan women... Apparently they still have female circumcision in Afghanstan. That is real fucked up.

For those unfamiliar with this 3rd world practice, it's not the same as when it happens in the modern world... basically over there, they cut a big chunk of the cunt off with a sharp knife or scissors, and sow up what is left with cotton... and no, they don't use anesthetic.



Want some facts? I cut and pasted these
- Razor blades, scissors, kitchen knives and even pieces of glass are used, often on more than one girl, which increases the infection.
- So drastic is the mutilation that young brides have to be cut open to allow penetration on their wedding night and are customarily sewn up afterwards.
- Anaesthesia is rarely used and, depending on local tradition, the operation is conducted on girls as young as three.

Keev,, its a hold over from the past when people weren't so big on washing as much. It got filthy under the skin and men ended up with nasty infections, so they lopped it off to prevent that. Might have been some other reasons as well but that was a biggie. Health 101, circa 1969.
