I Was In A Pretty Bad Car Accident Early This Morning!

Ok i was on my way home last night from a barbeque at 2 A.M. and i was sitting at a red light and some fucking drunking asshole slammed into me from behind going over 60 mph. Ambulance came and i went to the hospital for my neck and my lower back. Im in tons of pain and cannot go to get medication until i see my family doctor tomorrow. This guy was so fucking drunk he failed every test the cop gave him and they cuffed him and brought him to jail. Im of course sueing him because this is the 3rd time iv been hit from behind stopped at a damn red light and im sick of this. I mean cant people see a car in front of them at a RED light? Anyway heres a pic of his car that a good freind of mine took.



My car was to the right but the cops would not let me over there to take a pic and i took a pic of the drunk guy but it was way to far away and did not come out good. Iv been having the worst luck this month. First i lose 600 betting on the cheifs vs bucs game, then i chipped my tooth somehow and now this car accident. Hopefully i can get anew car out of this cuz my car is totalled and i gotta go and find work still. I was going to bartend but my uncle hired an asshole to manage it and i sware if i work for him ill end up knocking him out so I cant be in that environement..Hopefully ill be better in a week or so. Cops said if he would of hit me anywhere else I would of been died or in critical condition but he hit me from behind so im very thankful.

ya this is unbeleivable..I got the worst luck really...The drunkin ass who hit me hit his head on the wheel and his airbag blew up and it took him 10 min to get out of his car and when he did he fell down and was completly drunk...im just glad god was watching...my grandma passed away 2 months ago s0 im glad she was watching over me!

Same deal happend to my friend, from now on, he always keeps an eye in his rear view, and if a car looks like it's not slowing down, he makes sure he ca burn the light without causing an accident and takes off, he learned his lesson

yup u sure do....all i thought about afte ri got hit since i did not seeit coming was what my family would of looked like if i died. Ill tell u what, if your close with your family, that is something that u dont ever want to imagine...i really didnt sleep well either when ig ot home from the hospital at 6 a.m....accident keeps playing over and over in my head

That's not good news. I hope you're okay.

I've been in a few bad car crashes myself leading to back problems. If I could give you a piece of advice it would be to make sure you take the physiotherapy seriously. It will make a big difference in how fully you recover.

will do...since this has happened to me twice before this i had to go and take physical therapy for my neck mainly and i already know im gonna have bad problems since these accidents as i get older..either arthritis or hopefully not a slipped disk in my neck.

Davie I got rear ended years back on the Santa Monica Freeway. The gal wasn't even driving fast and it was typical LA stop 'n go traffic, but even at about 15MPH it still gave us all whiplash.

The best treatment was infared heat massage the chiropractor I went to did every day for several weeks. That really alleviated a lot of the back and neck pain.

Get that going as fast as possible.

A few years ago, my sister rear-ended a car though she was not drunk but did considerable damage. The other party sued her through insurance rightfully so but the neck/back pain claim was dismissed because the next day after the accident, the injured party went car shopping and bought a new car within days of the accident. How much pain was he really suffering?

I had the SAME THING happen to me when i was 18 (and my car looked just like yours does!) I was young and stupid and just took $1k for medical bills. So my advice is to SUE SUE SUE SUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sue them for every fuckin penny you can! You could have been killed!

I'm glad you're okay. Your neck is gonna hurt hella lot for the next few weeks so take good care of it (so it doesnt act up in the future, which im having now, almost 6 yrs later.)

you'll definatly get a new car, dont worry. and if you get a lawyer thats worth a damn, you'll get more than just one new car.

everybody thanks a lot....ya the guy has insurance and im not stupid to go buy cars or anything to jeopardize this case. I have a family lawyer who is really good here in nevada so im going to use him and Im comfortable getting every cent i deserve for this. I was in more shock when the cops told me if i was driving a car instead of a s-10 truck, the car would of been smashed and i would of been in critical condition if not dead....So i thank the heavens im ok...

btw chevy s-10's are so safe sinc it is what i was driving in this case....It seems this car has been really bad luck for me so I think its time for a new one.

He didn't post a link to his car, the policemen wouldn't let him take a pic of his car according to his first post. Not sure why since I have been rear-ended a few times and the cops have no problem with me taking pics. One accident it was my fault...I was told no pics and to stay away from my car.

what happened was the pic that was taken above was the drunk guys car...I couldnt take the pic of my car because the accident was in the middle of the road and so was my car so they wouldnt let me around to my car because they were afraid people would drive by and hit me so they made me stay on the curb. My buddy took that pic right when he arrived on the scene and the guys car was totalled as well..my car was to the far right and they wouldnt allow me to go back to it.

Glad you're OK. Now, make sure you have a lot of neck and back pain and do follow up Dr. visits, chiropractor's, pains meds, physical therapy etc. etc. Who knows what types of medical problems you COULD have from this accident in a year or two, so you just as well be compensated nicely for the hassle.
