Saw that Cantor Fitzgerald guy (Howard Letnick) on Larry King just yet, now that is a sad sad story.

I hope he pulls through.

There is a relief fund setup for the families of those workers lost, from his company.

I hope so too, if I could give some more money I would, this guy really seems to need it, seems like a great person. He also lost his brother.

Whizzo, I think you could call any strip hotel and get a room right now. We are running 39% occupied where I work...that is pathetic. The hotel has lost...lets say a LOT since this happend. Not in profits, their costs are higher then their income by almost 2 mil since the 11th. Pretty frightening. The only casinos and hotels doing well are the off strip ones that cater to the locals...not these fancy dan ones.

Working on my sites, because this is the future, I think porn goes on and guys (gals too) are gonna need release.

I understand that 3 major conventions in October have been cancelled as well. Usually in the night sky there are 10-15 planes that can be seen at any given time... the past few nights there are about 5 and most flights are running less than half full.

The heard mentality has set in... airlines have cut 20% of their workforce... Boeing announced a 20% cut. This is only just the beginning. I hate to see this country become the land of the lemmings.

I think I will contribute to the economy and buy a few more domains.

AWC, you are right on the conventions....we have had 20 different banquets cancel including Ford. Haven't had any this week actually keep their reservations.

So far, COMDEX hasn't cancelled, and everyone is crossing their fingers. Although we don't host it, it usually means all the rooms are full in town. I keep seeing my bosses looking at the negative numbers on the financial statements, hoping they will reverse.
