Spybot also has a system called the tea timer. It requires you to approve or dis approve changes to the registry.

I have tried them all..Bullet Proof is pretty good..Just downloaded Counter Spy...we'll see how that works..20 to 50 instances everyday fucking blows

ive tried everything and that only thing that truly works is either reformatting or doing a system resore to a previous day.

Every other system Ive used cleans the spyware, but the spyware regenerates inself after a reboot

toolbar plugins
O/S manipulators
SE specific controllers

You need
- Ad-Aware/Spybot
- CWShredder
- HijackThis
and the ability to know how to delete the hidden _Restore folder while
in Safe Mode.

Spycatcher. You even get 2 weeks free before you have to register it. I had spyware that "capture" Explorer and none of the other programs could fix it. Once I tried Spycatcher, not only did it fix it, it found other crap on my drive I didn't know anything about.

Don't often give whole hearted endorsements of software, but I do on this one!

spybot search and destroy is great. you should use more than one since one prog cannot find them all.

I have all of them and they don't work. Still stuff pops up out of nowhere. Try using a baseball bat to your computer. That helped me once.

I've used my fist before, and although it stopped the popups and spyware, in the end it would have been easier to just format.

I'm glad to hear that. The program truly does rock. While the others are good, this one rocks in that it covers so many ad crap that the others don't.
