IE6 and ibill cookies - sign ups tracked???

I think this question has been asked before. However I have just downloaded IE 6 and I am getting errors when I try to sign up using ibill. IE tells me https://www.ccscan.com/x/1.cgi?91000000 causes some problems...

    Any comments?

By default IE6 denies ALL cookies.

You have to go into the internet options & edit your security settings to allow all cookies by default.

Both IE6 and NS6 will be adhering to the new p3p policy ( http://www.p3p.org ) which requires that each server include a full privacy policy in it's cookie headers to ensure that you don't get tracked in a way that isn't anonymous.

Overall the idea is good but I have yetto see any documentation on p3p that is anything but confusing...

That's why we at ConversionCash stopped using cookies to track signups last week :-)

It seems ibill has no privacy policy in its cookies. So IE6 ibill sign ups are not tracked???!!!

By default IE 6 denies all THIRD PARTY cookies.

The best way to get an answer to this question would be to ask support at Ibill I think.

and I dont mean third party processors, I mean third party cookies.

We've not seen any problems tracking with cookies on default settings in IE 6 and that's what we use as standard.

              Hooper is way wrong.

By default, IE 6 ACCEPTS ALL REGULAR COOKIES.

If you use third party cookies ON YOUR SITE they don't work by default (KK is right). I don't know of any adult affiliate programs that use third party cookies. Counters are about the only thing that are third party, and they will work if they properly publish a privacy policy.

So YES, Ibill will work fine on IE 6 with default settings.

Aaah.. yes, you are both correct.. my head seems to be way up my ass today.

3rd party cookies are the ones that get denied however I will point out that we have found many problems with products that set cookies and IE6.
