Is Captain Kirk involved?

I just heard that the Enterprise was headed to the mediterranean. Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock are going to kick some ass!

LOL

Tribbles are the next logical (just ask Spock) step when you don't yell "ARMAGEDDON" any more with gerbils!

A few thoughts on having "Srar Trek" technology....

1) With the advent of the transporter, there would be no need for planes, because anyone could "beam" to anywhere they wanted. Of course this "beaming" service would be strictly controled so terrorists can't just beam into the white house and kill anyone they want.

2) Also with transporter technology our troops could be moved to the trouble regions in seconds.

3) We would of course deny replicator services to those countries that don't cooperate with our anti-terrorist movement.

4) The holo-suite/holo-deck: I alone would own one, and spend virtually all my time in it, living out pretty much every fantasy I've ever had (lots). I would charge exhorbitant prices for others to have a few hours here or there.

5) Phasers on stun: yes, we could have a ship in orbit, and it could use phasers to stun the entire country of Afghanistan, 500 square miles at a time perhaps. Troubled regions of Belfast Ireland, and elsewhere in the middle east could also be stunned (many of those assholes are "stunned" anyway), and our troops could move in, disarm the terrorists and put them in jail.

Damn I wish we'd invent some of that Star-Trek shit soon.

The great thing about Star Trek is that earth is more peaceful with itself & more utopian than it is now. Next Wednesday begins the new "Star Trek: Enterprise" series predates the original Star Trek & is the start of earth's exploration into space.
