Stating the prices on your Ads
Just wonder what everyone thinks about stating the prices for memberships to sponsors. i.e.
Join now for only 2.95!! Do you use lines like this much? Is it better to let them know they will have to pay to get in? Or is it better to let them hit the tour before they get hit with a price? ------------------ |

I typically don't mention a price; especially with Wozzo and co. changing the prices daily

I don't tell them on the banners, and I only use banners that don't have the price, becuase they do sometimes change them, and I'm too lazy to find the 100 places I have the banners up.
I only mention price in several full page ads I have up for one particual sponsor that doesn't have trial only 1 month minimum subscriptions. They are my best selling sponsor, but since they don't have referral stats, I'm not sure if the ads that have a price vs ads that don't sell more. ------------------  XXX Porntastic Quality Adult Links |

"Full time webmaster" = working 12-16 hours a day building free sites, avs sites, pay sites, galleries, top lists, hub sites, traffic funneling systems, etc.

Mentioning the price on your ads will lower your clickthru ratio on those ads.
It will also raise your conversion rate on those click thrus. Try it both ways on the same traffic and see if you make more money with or without the price. Personally my bet is on with the price... |
