He's got a Masters Degree In Business. He started his review site a year ago. He now employs two full-timers and could be hiring more people in the near future! ;)

I just did a piece with Mantas about how he's built his empire in little under a year. He chats about where he thinks anyone can make a good chunk of change doing reviews and the problems he's faced getting started. If you're at all interested in building a review-site, you might find this useful . . .

Mantas is a smart cat . . . you can tell it by speaking with him. He started just over a year ago - made mistakes. Eventually some time over the past year, he hired a SEO guy to kick him a report, and now Google has him giddy.

I hear what you're saying about linking being hard . . . but if he can do it and be making money within a year, it certainly says that there are possibilities for the driven!

Did you have to beg and plead?? When I first started managing accounts for Platinum Bucks, I begged and pleaded with him to review our sites. This was back shortly after he launched his site. He wouldn't hear it. Eventually he came around to understanding that I wasn't a complete bastard and I think he's reviewed a few by now. Hopefully he didn't put you through THAT! ;)

I think he had a tough time at first getting to everyone. There are so many sites out there to cover. However, I've been freelancing with him for a while now and he's not only a great employer but he really knows what he's doing.. My hat's off to him

I didn't read your report yet, Doug - but I'm more than sure that it only emphasizes the quality of Mantas' site as a whole & the great mind in Mantas - builder/creator of RabbitsReviews.com. I'm fortunate enough to have met Mantas when offering a ride to Quebec - not only is this guy easygoing and relaxed, you know for sure he's listening to every word you said and it's registering in his knowledgeable, computerized mind to spit out suggestions and help you build on your ideas. ;) Besides being helpful, he's a sweetheart and I'm lucky to call him a friend.

Carbon from RabbitsReviews if probably one of the smartest guys I've met in this industry. I have seen first hand how one of his reviews can help a site and it's conversion. The joins they send are like gravy on the whole deal. Pretty neat

I had a whole list of review sites I'd send passes to every month . . . just to make sure we were constantly being added. If you're not doing that and you run a pay site program, you should!!

Got 404 traffic? Send it to a review site like the rabbit's or make your own. I've tried FPA's and all kinds of shit to convert 404 and nothing works like reviews does. I get conversions of 1:7 to 1:300 and the norm is about 1:70 to 1:140.

lol your approach wasn't entirely conventional doug platinum sites have grown considerably since that time, they were ripe for a review

if anyone has a quality paysite, feel free to request a review (see sig); our turnaround can be as long as 2-3 weeks, but if you hit a time where there are only a few requests, your review can be up within 3 days.

I'd never thought about that! But i have though about making a review site. What I learned was - reviews are a LOT of work!!! My hat's off to those who decide on taking it on!

It's fair review site, I've seen better. It looks too much like a sales site than an honest review site.

But out of the top 5 teen sites 4 are our clients and that tells you something.
