When the fuck are we leaving Iraq

insurgent leaders in the area offer cash bounties for killing certain kinds of people: $1,000 for a Shiite, $2,000 for a member of the Iraqi National Guard and $3,000 for an American.
these people dont fuck around - either bomb them to the stone age or get our soldiers the fuck home.

i talked to lots of soldiers at schipol airport on a layover this week, and they all say, they cant level a building if theres a sniper in it - they have to make sure there is no innocent people in there. what the fuck?

if im sitting next to you, and you are a sniper - i am not innocent.

Let him who hath understanding reckon the WISDOM of the TOOF!

I post on GFY so that when people ask me what I do,
I can tell them that I work with the mentally retarded.

Na... they just increased the limit of the national debt in the US - they can stretch to more than 200 now :-)

Only problem is.. the new debt figure is around 70% of the total US economy

I know some kids in the US right now who are on some call up list and due out in the next few months.

When I heard they were sending kids of 18-19 with literally nada experience, - I had this weird idea I should shoot some bastards!!

Yes.. it is damned sad - it's just an abuse of the military.

So if a sniper takes over your house with force or the house next door, you are guilty?

As were the waiters, kitchen staff and people eating in the restaurant where the US Intelligence thought Saddam was and they launched a cruise missile to destrot it.

Mike your attitude is the reason why the US and the rest of the world will be paying for Iraq in money and blood for decades.

This attitude is just what the terrorists want.

I doubt if it will be 12 to 16 years. But they will leave with the same or even more shame than they left Nam with.

Very little doubt of that!! It's totally unsustainable, - never was sustainable in the first instance.

I'd be curious to know how often this is the actual scenario, rather than the surrounding 'innocent' people knowing whats going on. no sarcasm implied.

Take it easy, i think this is the stupidest war in fucking history - ive been against it from day one. i campaigned against bush and gave up my third party vote to try to get rid of him. but you have to accept the fact that we are there now and be realistic, not idealistic.

the terrorists are already getting what they want - innocent people are already being killed every day - thats why im saying, SINCE WE ARE THERE, either do it right, or bring the boys back home.

Yup, UBL and the Saudi kings wanted us out of Saudi Arabia, so we needed to find another staging point for any future conflicts in that part of the world.

One way or another we will always have troops in Iraq.

That's the idea according to Bush, but the way it is starting to look is that they will kick you out
