Can't see it changing anything. Bin Laden's had one on us for the past three years and that one (quite obviously) was/is the one to be concerned about. The frickin' Taliban making the same threat is irrelevant - they don't have the resources to do anything.

The Taliban has issued their own death warrant. Notice even Iran's tone is "We won't support a US war"? No threats, no posturing, just an official "Ummm.. we're against it." If a political scientist said a month ago that Pakistan would allow a US presence to attack Aghanistan, and Iran would neither condone nor condemn such an attack, everyone would have thought that person was crazy.

Key is gonna be to run in with an international group, take out the targets, and then get the fuck out of their country(s) just as quick. If the US tries to maintain a military presence in this region, it's not gonna be pretty.

Too bad the media keeps leaving off the end of the 'wanted dead or alive', Bush finished that with, 'All we want is justice' in a tone that the dead or alive is the serious poster from the old days but we want him in court. And let him face justice there.

They have had a JiHad out against the States off and on for years. A couple years ago it was specificly against Americans living abroad.

That was around the time of the African embassy bombing and the government put out a warning to all of us living abroad. Understandable that only those of us living abroad would know about that.

We were advised not to tell anyone we were American and to keep a low profile.

What sucked was that at the time I worked as a travel agent at a place called 'The Africa Travel Center' which was run by a bunch of total pricks. White South Africans that loved making racial comments and such. I went to them and asked them calmly not to let anyone know that I was American.

Know what they did? The next time the phone rang they picked it up and said 'Hello Africa Travel Center..we have an American working here.' I picked up my bags and left and never went back.

Instead I went full time in the porn biz

The taliban have roots in Pakistan too. They share a massive border. Their gov't is taking a huge risk in giving us support. Bet they have another coup.

Btw..anyone remember when Bush was quized on world leaders names in the election? Remember which leader he couldn't name? That's right Pakistan's leader. Good thing he isn't holding a grudge.
