They should change it to The Montreal Angels. -
Growing up less than 30 minutes away, the Angels have always been my favorite (along with the Dodgers).

Well, I think it goes back to their original name. Plus, Anaheim used to be in LA County and still is fairly close to the line (and is only about 25 miles from downtown). I'm sure it really comes down to marketing.Originally posted by foolio

Actually it's the new name is The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim which now surpasses as The Mighty Ducks Of Anaheim as the stupidest team name in sports. Must be an Anaheim thing.Comment
