I kickboxed for 2 years, fought some fights ( had to do it in quebec because full contact fighting is illegal in ontario) but alot of people under estimate the cardio it takes to fight a fight.

ALOT fucking harder then it looks! ALOT, adrenaline like that almost makes you breathless.

yep when you put on the gloves and start swinging, it's waaaaaaaaay fucking harder than it looks!

if you're not in shape you're gassed in like 45 seconds.

ohhh yeah! I used to train intense cardio for months. I would spar for 6 rounds straight with only 30 seconds in between. That was after doing an hour of cardio and workout (not weights, punching/dodging/rhytem/combo exercises)

So that their alone was pretty intense then the 6 rounds too. I was doing it 2 nights a week, plus lots and LOTS of skipping.

So i'd goto a fight, and after the second round, I'd think i was going to pass out cuz i couldnt breath. The adrenaline takes it outa ya, plus a real fight is so much more exilerating.

Was fun, but I quit cuz it takes to much time, and i didnt plan on going anywhere with it, was just for fun.

Being in fighting shape is totally different than being in running and cardio shape.

There was no fight, Kimbo did not get knocked out.

You guys say Kimbo got beat up but Gannon's face tells a different story. Getting your ass kicked isn't the same thing as being exhausted. You also say he's out of shape but I would like to see anyone get choked for 2 min and be able to continue a fight. Also from what I saw in the video Kimbo got out of both choke holds. he didn't get out of any chokeholds, his posse stormed the ring and Gannon let go. Kimbo was cheating when he shot for the single leg by his own rules and Gannon should have been allowed to choke him out. Also Kimbo cheated when he swarmed Gannon when he was down - again cheating against his own rules.

Very true. Cardio is essential for fighting and it's many many many times harder than it looks.

He did choke him out again after that and no one stormed in and Kimbo got out of it. Also I didn't see anyone make Gannon let go of him. And Gannon cheated when he Kneed Kimbo in the head also. So maybe they both cheated and maybe Gannon would have won if the rules where different or maybe Kimbo would have won if the rules where obeyed. But all i know is Gannon's face was FUCKED UUUP and they both looked tired at the end and Kimbo was the only one that got choked. :thumbsup
