Where is the warmest, sunniest Winter? I hate New England!

Hello people, I am wanting to move away from cold, rainy, and snowy Boston for the winter months, can somebody reccomend a spot in the U.S. that is warm and sunny, and doesnt rain much during the winter?

Maybe Southern Florida, but I think winters there are like 50 and 60 degrees... I need 80's! Anybody know a good spot??

I'd like to spend my winters in Mexico, but Florida will more than likely win out.

The winters aren't all that warm in Florida, but it sure beats the hell out of the winters up north.

I hear that San Diego has an average temperature of 72 degrees.

That sounds like the best option to me, which would make the answer to your question California.

I like Acapulco for the beaches. If I was to pick a city, I'd go with Guadalajara.

I heard San Diego is not bad... I lived in 29 Palms in southern California for a year and the winter was cold as balls. Ill have to research the Winter weather in San diego. Right now its.. low 70's during the day. Not bad, but not great...

It sure is great to hear of somebody who realizes that you dont' have to 'grow where you are planted' I got smart and moved from rainy, foggy northern Californai down here to Santa Barbara. It's Nov 15 at 10 pm and I'm sitting here in my shorts & T shirt with the door and windows open - heaven! I took my dog to the beach today - it weas great.

I recommend San Diego - it's a great town and very warm and sunny in the winter and not too hot in the summer. You can find hotter weather in Mexicao but let's face it - it's not the good ol U.S.

Smut - doesn't seem to change that much from Nov to Feb - always seems to be nice. I kinda miss the rain and weather from northern Cal . . - FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES. . . you can have it. Crimeny - I go swimming in January and even if it's a bit chilly it's not that biting, nasty freeze in the the northern states. why everybody doesn;'t move to southern Calif I'll never know

yeah, that would be your best bet, but it's quite a big move for just the winter months.

Its pretty much sunny and 70's forever in San Diego

Actually, thats a lie.. The real range is probably 50-85 throughout the year.. It didn't rain for over 6 months this summer.

Hot chicks too ;)

I moved from rainy Oregon to San Diego, and it wasn't what I was expecting out of southern California. San Diego is awful..... While it may be mild year round temp, it's cloudy all the fucking time. Almost always overcast. "June Gloom" lasts alot longer then June. I moved from there to Huntington Beach, and it was the same damn thing. So last year I said screw the coast, and moved to Palm Springs and LOVE it...... ALWAYS sunny and believe it or not, you really do get used to the summers. (It's a dry heat - lol) Maybe 10-15 days of grey skies a year tops.

Best weather in the US year round is Kihei Maui. We were gonna move there instead of San Diego, but got cold feet.... Wanted to stay on the mainland.
