I want to buy one. Should I get one now, after thanksgiving, before christmas, after christmas?
Wait till next year?

The thing I hate about computers is that if I wait a while prices come down because the new stuff is out. But I dont know when is a good time to get one.

There's never a "good time" if you ask me.

Whatever you get a deal on today will be outdated by something new next week.

Just the nature of the beast.

Day after Thanksgiving go to Best Buy about an hour before they open and be the first one in the door. Run to the computer department and grab the laptop they are selling at cost or less. They are supposed to have 100 per store but 90 of them get snapped up by employees and relatives so that leave 10 on the shelves.

You can also get good deals on desktops. Basically, they advertise a deal so good, that it gets thousands of people into the store over the course of the week even though they only have the computers for the first hour of the first day of the sale. Still, people in the store = sales.

After xmas is the best time, thats when the big sales happen.
