Education of course! Money - it comes and goes, one day you have it, the next day you don't. With education, it's with you forever. It doesn't diminished, it even nurtured as the day goes by.

A smart person does both.
In this business you can make big bucks by just maintaining what you have you can hire anyone to do that if you're out of time and still earn very good money. |
Switch to something that will help you in your online work and you could double your yearly salary...
|
both would be nice, but definitely education.

I was an older student. Started college at 26. I was 29, and took my LSAT to get into law school and when I got my results I said,"do I really want to be somebodys clerk at age 34, and perhaps make partner by 55?" fuck that. So I started up on an AEN and did over 6 figures my first year. The rest is history.

and power corrupts then school is the root of all evil |

I like the ideas I've heard about "putting your money to work for you". Index mutual funds are doing really well right now. Buy into each index and let it grow under compound interest. Since index mutual funds are fairly static, there's not much going on as far as selling stocks goes, so there's very little to trigger capital gains tax. Pile money in there while you're going to school. When you get out of school you'll either continue doing what you're doing or you might have decided to move on. If you decide to move on, you'll have a hell of a nest egg to work with. Spend a year traveling the world and then buy a house for cash. :2 cents:

i strive for education because i want to have better career opportunities. money is part of my goal though because i try hard to get educated so i'd have a job that pays well.

i think many of your definitions of education differ from mine fundamentally.
education is all about learning, meeting other intelligent people with challenging/opposing views, and expanding your mind. imho. it has almost nothing to do with making money, at least directly. |
both, study and earn money so that u can hire ppl with higher talent / educated to work for you

Get your degree while earning money. You can manage it, you are young and fresh. If there are some problems with school you can just loosen up your work a bit and earn only 100k instead of 120k. :-)

When I was there, I chose subjects that I found intriguing. It wasn't like highschool where you have to take all kinds of courses you don't like or need. At University you get to choose and focus on the area of study that interests YOU. Listening to some of the professors speak on issues was mind blowing. Some of them are so articulate and the subject matter so interesting. Go to university because it excites you. Learning about things that you've always wanted know is exciting. I still read and re-read many of the textbooks I used during school and I've purchased additional books on the topics I was interested just to get some more insight. The people in universities are the ones creating the drugs and antibiotics that save lives. You can learn about how they do it and perhaps someday do it yourself. The people in universities are the ones that can teach you about technology to fly into space, or to build planes or even bombs. Anything!. It's also the place where future politicians reside...you can learn about the political system that governs you and why it is the way it is, its pros and cons. As far as information goes, there is no other institution on earth 'higher' than university for you to get your hands on that information. Learn whatever you want to learn. Universtity can be a pretty profound experience if you enjoy learning. And if that's not enough, there are the chicks and the parties you will go to.:winkwink: |
One of the great things about working online is that if you set things up right the computer will do a lot of the work for you..
Try and do both, I'd only think about the decision if it wasn't working. |
Both...
Money, college chicks, college parties and an education to fall back on or persue. I can only imagine going back in time with 120k a year during college :Graucho College is like sex... If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right. Did I mention college chicks? lol :2 cents: |
