You wont die ... unless you take a shit load .... i'v had say ...8 rum and cokes in 3-4 hours and taken 1-2 mg in that time and it just makes you fucked up ... doubles the effect of both ...

Actually, xanax is not a depressant itself, it is an anti anxiety medication that will smooth the mood when taken right, but when combined with alcohol it counteracts and creates a depressive state that some people can't cope with.
