Halo 2 on modded xbox will cut off xbox live?
Cnet has reported more and more xbox gamers that have been cut off after playing Halo 2 online on their modded xbox.
Did anyone hear about this yet?

Yes if you go online with a modded xbox it will cut off your live and you wont be able to use it anym,ore online.

apparently, they're checking harddrive sizes now too. so even if you have a softmod that lets you disable the chip for live play, you're screwed if you swapped the HD.

The sad part is that the people that had modded Xboxes and were still using Live were the ones that had actually bought games, since you always had to have the original store bought DVD and mods turned off to play over Live, from what I understand.Comment

Just download http://www.xbconnect.com - there's thousands of people playing at all times. Works just as good as Live. This is for Halo only, no one plays any of the other games through this.Comment
