$460 for a 2BR in mesa is a really good deal...although some areas can be kinda rough. South Scottsdale is cheap but safer.

Also remember if you are only paying $460 a month - so are your neighbors...you get what you pay for.

Also consider if you are living in Ohio you'll meet some new 'creatures' that tend to live in those older apartment dwellings. Scorpions for one. You can get a new apartment in a good part of Scottsdale for $900 a month.

If you want some help ICQ me.

Don't forget wolfe spiders, tarantulas, bark scorpions (the kind that climb vertically and check you out from the ceiling while you sleep), rattlesnakes, wasps, mountain lions and killer bees.

Welcome to Arizona...enjoy your stay!

LOL

Seriously though all those things do exist, my pest control guy comes to my house (I live in north scottsdale) and sprays once a month. Other than a cricket here or there I have only found one scorpion in the past year, and it was dead near my garage door.
Part of the reason is my house is new (no cracks or leaks for insects to get through) and I have the guys spray the hell out of my house every month.

Those are small spiders. Move to the desert, you'll see.

Lol, I'm building a new house on some agricultural land in Gilbert and now you got me freaked. I went ahead and got the pest control tubing put throughout the walls so I'll see if that helps. Will be a fun transition moving from La Jolla.
