This is shit is just really getting ridiculous! I now steadily get 5-10 members a day e-mailing me, "I just signed-up for your site and it's saying I'm blocked. Why can't I get into the site?"

99.9% of these idiots are entering the correct username and password. They just aren't entering it using the same "case" they used when they signed-up.

Do people not use passwords and usernames on a daily basis and isn't it just assumed that passwords and usernames are almost always case sensitive? WTF?

Not all user names are case sensitive. In fact, I have more non-sensitive user names than I do sensitive names. For example, both of my online bank accounts and my online CC accounts are NOT case sensitive.

Do you have a FAQ page for your members? This is also something you should mention in their initial welcome email. I can't tell you how many times I forget my passwords.

I'd suggest teaching them how to copy and paste, but that would inevitably lead them to becoming adult webmasters. Thus increasing the competition and/or the surfer base at GFY.
