Fantasy Football Advice! Who to play?

Alright I need a starting QB for this week's matchup. I normally had Chad Pennington and Drew Brees. Brees is on Bye, and Pennington is injured.

The free agents who are out there are:

Tim Rattay

David Garrard

AJ Feeley

Drew Bledsoe

Kurt Warner

Josh McCown

Craig Krenzel

I wanted to go with Rattay, but he is playing Carolina which has only let up 4 passing td's all season. So I am unsure if I should play him.

Who would you pick and why?

Ah it has not taken me over, but it's fun. The league i'm in is a bunch of friends, so it's good to talk shit and have fun with.

I've posted onto some of the fantasy boards, and have gotten mixed advice.

Some say go with Rattay and hope he has a break out game..

Others have said to go with McCown since he finally has 2 healthy WR's and also has Denny Green who loves to go deep.

I would probably play McCown over Warner. Warner has not put up good numbers yet this season. With Baber doing so much he takes the bulk load of the offense

Miami has a bye as well, so Feely is out.

Best matchup is McCown playing at home against the Giants whose defense has given up 13 passing TD's in 9 games.

That's what I was thinking. I also forgot to mention Quincy Carter as well. He's not an option though since the Jets don't pass the long a lot.

It's a tough call..

I was also maybe thinking of going with David Garrard. Sometimes a new QB can bring a spark to a team.

Go with Rattay:
The absence of Carolina DT Kris Jenkins will allow San Francisco to establish its running game and neutralize the Panthers' pass rush. With time, Rattay--whose forearm injury wasn't a bother last week--can hit his perimeter receivers and TE Eric Johnson, who should flourish against Carolina's cover 2.

Now join my program & make $$$

Yeah I read that report as well, but the numbers don't lie. 4 td's all season. I think Barlow will get 25 or more carries

Rattay, don't even think about it. He puts up huge numbers and since his defense sucks he is on the field alot.
