I got an email from Traffic Cash Gold about some changes they are making to their celeb sites. They are, apparently, converting them into "movie review" sites, which also feature excerpts from the movies being reviewed. These samples from the movies will almost certainly be the nude videos of celebs in the movies.
We've talked about celeb sites before, and one thing that always comes up is the fact that "fair use" is allowed, even of copyrighted material. In general, review excerpts are considered fair use. Do you think this will make the celeb sites legal?
I don't use their celeb sites, I just thought it was an interesting move to try to protect themselves.
Opinions?
Here is some of the email they sent out:
If you advertise one or more of the so-called celebrity websites within the Traffic Cash Gold program, please take note:
NEW BANNERS have been created for your use, reflecting the re-design ofthese celebrity sites into their current movie review format.
These banners are for your benefit, as they should improve your conversion rate, because they accurately reflect the content appearing in these sites, so that traffic originating from your site will not be disappointed by promises of content from an old, inaccurate banner.
